FAQ

Please find answers to several FAQs below. If you still need help, feel free to reach out to us.

A. First rule, do not sign any contract or any payment plan until you see and feel the hair system in person. Make sure to try one on first and consider the following: How does the hairline look? Is it lightweight and natural against your scalp? How does the hair rest on your head? Is the color compatible with your own natural hair? Generally speaking, a good quality hair system can start from $500 and up depending on length, type of base, size of system and hair density.

A. When someone is wearing a high quality hair system it is very hard to notice. With the right system it will rarely be an issue.

A. First of all, when shopping for a hair system it has to be done in person. A mold has to be done in order to create a custom piece and this procedure takes about 20 minutes. We also will need a color sample of your own hair and discuss a hair style that meets your needs. It will be helpful if you can provide a picture of the style that you’re looking for as well. All of these elements are part of the process when making a system that you feel confident about and comfortable wearing.

A. You can remove the system and place it back but I do not recommend cutting your own system. Cutting should be done by a hair replacement specialist.

A. Choose your MHP artist carefully and you will be amazed at the results. Tamir, our hair specialist is one of the BEST in the country and prides himself in creating 100% natural looking short hair scalps. Each hair is inked into the scalp in various hues and directions for that look stars like Vin Diesel, Bruce Willis and Kobe Bryant have made so popular!

A. Hair system service depends on the clients lifestyle but normally it can be anywhere from 4 to 6 weeks.

A. Yes those photos are real! We use sterile surgical adhesive that is very resistant to all kinds of wear and can hold your hair system in place for at least 4 weeks. Some of our users are avid water skiers and jet-ski enthusiasts.

A. It’s difficult to get a good quality hair system online because there are a number of options that may require a “hands on” review. If you don’t know what the right color, size, density, quality of hair and the style that’s going to meet your needs, you may miss the mark. You need a trained replacement specialist to first cut and style the system because no mistakes can be made in the initial construction of the piece. If you absolutely cannot see a specialist then make sure you have a good conversation with a skilled hair person at the very least. Do not compromise your appearance!
